Curiosity and experience expand creativity. And as you continue to interact with creativity, you go from 2D to 3D to 4D thinking and beyond. There is great value in being a student every day and connecting ideas from a variety of sources.

ADVENTURE &TRAVEL
AS TEACHER
Performed Bulgarian folk songs on the Barbie stage at Epcot (surreal experience)
Got my motorcycle license (barely passed)
Tried out for a theatre production (got stage manager instead)
Tandem parasailed off a mountain in Switzerland (hung by my arms for a few seconds when I didn’t quite get in the harness)
Climbed into the Great Pyramid (physically grueling but only scary when the lights went off)
Became a Reiki Master (surprisingly intuitive)

Art museums, galleries, studios, and auction houses are my happy places for ideas and meditation.
Having the opportunity for rare, behind-the-scenes tours of Christie's with John Hay (left), Sotheby's with Leslie Keno (right), and The Met were some of my best art days.

The results vary, but serves to jump-start my projects and longer-form creations.
